The British parliament - Westminster,
London - is made up of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Bills are also sent backwards and forwards between the two houses
and modified through amendments. Besides, a bill which has been passed by Parliament
still needs royal assent before becoming an Act of Parliament. |
